originally released as a b-side in 2007 on figures then-sublabel podium, len fakis my black sheep was one of those rare tracks that unpredictably take on a life of their own. a veritable underground hit, it not only came to define the sound of len faki at that time but for many became equally synonymous with the state of the scene in berlin around that time. now that ten years have passed since then, we felt it was about time to finally treat the sheep to a fresh shave
the patron saints of altered states known as john frum welcome in the golden age of musical enlightenment with a stirring in the noos. nearly 6 years in the making, john frums unorthodox debut maneuvers through 40 minutes of darkly psychedelic and meticulously crafted death metal, acting as a medium for malefic musings, the backdrop of a bad trip. john frum borrows its name from a relatively isolated group of natives in the south pacific islands, known as a cargo cult, whose encounter with the outside world led to an awakening of new beliefs and lifestyles. the mysterious john frum is the manifestation of four musical minds coalescing in a collective consciousness developed from time spent playing with the dillinger escape plan, the faceless, john zorn, cleric and many more elite projects. a stirring in the noos is a dismal distillation of oneric transmission and a totem to modern primitivism in heavy music.
the vinyl lp includes a download code.

mainly known for his work on the prolific m_rec ltd, our attention to marcos techno came from tracks released on clerics label c l e r g y, very soon after a line of communication was opened and demo tracks were created.
the end result is what you have before you. a six track ep consisting of x4 originals, x1 centralised locked groove and x1 atmospheric. functional, emotive, very playable, dj friendly, dance floor techno.
alien landscapes visually back time transfixed by way of bespoke, full cover artwork.
repress! without special edition print of the cover artwork! infrastructure regularly works with up-and-coming artists on cover artwork. respected young swiss artist julian charriere provided the iconic greyscale cover for post scriptum s debut lp (inf-020), and london based photographer guy archard s work featured on campbell irvine s reunion of two bodies maxi-ep (inf-018). now the celebrated british fine-artist robert ncnally has been invited to submit original artwork for facticity. selected by jake and dinos chapman to show work at the prestigious flowers gallery in london, and commissioned by damien hurst to provide work for his private collection, robert s incredibly detailed large scale pencil drawings are attracting serious interest in the modern art world. mcnally s cover image was selected from a series of works based on adapted antique post cards. its anti-establishment, censorship-related overtones are clear to see, as is the stark use of contrast - thick layers obscure the fading original, re-appropriating it.

recondites debut on the dystopian label. four tracks feature the whole range of creativeness from this extraordinary producer. or as the groove-magazine puts it into words: from borderline-idm (liberia) to trance-not-trance (cleric), industrial-beat (ec10) and john-carpenter-house (equilibrium) - it has it all. the many shades of techno!
excellent value for money pack from the first two releases combined. really cool originals by a thousand details and astronomical telegram and big remixes by orphx, casual violence, stanislav tolkachev and more.
already moving forward towards the 5th addition to their catalog within barely one year of existence. the rotterdam-based self reflektion imprint continues to expand their crew presenting a four-track sampler with music from the likes of logotech (manifesto/it), hiroaki iizuka (them/jp), remco beekwilder (self reflektion/nl) and lenson (paling trax/nl) - each showing their own perspective in techno music. from the trippy hypnotic *the 6th door* to the overwhelming *the circle* on the a-side, and from the straight banging *fraud* to the destroy everything attitude on *envy cross*, this release is just a small example of what is yet to come from this young label.
early support by dave clarke, tripeo, marcel dettmann, cleric, truss, truncate, mtd, zadig, dax j, stranger, len faki, nx1 among others.
new berlin based label from amotik. the debut ep features 3 heavy techno cuts.. not much else to say, but hit play, and enjoy. supported by: pfirter, truncate, kwartz, eric cloutier, norman nodge, tommy four seven, cari lekebush, cleric and many more!
it has been almost 2 years since our inaugural vinyl release, but after a long gestation period, the 2nd reaktivate vinyl ep is finally here, and we hope the wait was worth it. we certainly feel very proud of it and are aware of what it has to live up to, after having one of the tracks from rktv001 going as far as landing a slot in pangaeas fabriclive 73 mix-cd.
early support from cleric, marcel dettmann, jeroen search, miss sunshine and kr!z. construct ep contains 4 tracks by upcoming belgian techno producer stevie p.
ldnwht. london white - new london based vinyl only project, great 2nd release comp. feat. superb cut from audio injection...

following the extraordinary outings of his 2010 debut 12 inches on phantasy sound (summertime our league / havai), and an album and mini album in 2009/11 respectively (weekend / preparing a voice to meet the people coming) on perdizes dream/glue moon, sao paolo based babe, terror returns with knights ep his visionary take on modern sampleapsychedelica or wdm (wrong dance music) as he describes it, composed under the influence of the cadence of life. this heady stew of unsettling aural landscapes and lush, cinematic stories, have earned him the admiration of the new yorker, said the gramophone, the guardian, coke machine glow and uncut as well as the likes of arto lindsay, four tet, james holden.
this isnt your average piece of vinyl as well as >five killer tracks of skewed house / hynogogia<, it features etched illustrations around the edge and in the centre. oh, and listeners have to play it from the inside out i.e. the stylus needs to be placed in the middle of the record
